Your first visit starts with a chat about your symptoms and health history. Then we'll look inside your nose with a thin camera.
Before you arrive
- Bring any past CT or MRI scans, even from another clinic.
- Bring reports from past nose exams or sinus surgery, if you had any.
- Write down the medicines you take now, including nasal sprays.
- Think about when your symptoms started, and what makes them better or worse.
During the visit
The nose exam is quick, and most people handle it well. We use a small camera to look inside your nose and sinus openings. The camera may be soft and bendy or firm, depending on what we need to see.
How care unfolds after that
Your first visit is just the start. Here's the general shape of what follows, though your exact path depends on what we find.
Consultation & Nasal Endoscopy
A detailed discussion of your symptoms and history, plus a direct in-office look at the nose and sinuses.
Testing, When Needed
CT, MRI or smell testing, ordered only when clinically indicated.
Diagnosis & a Personalized Plan
A clear explanation of findings, and a treatment plan built around your specific case.
Treatment & Follow-Up
Medical treatment, an office-based procedure, or surgery when appropriate — followed by ongoing care.
