Conditions Accepted for Referral
- Complex or refractory chronic rhinosinusitis, with or without nasal polyps
- Revision sinus surgery
- Nasal polyposis
- Allergic fungal rhinosinusitis
- Odontogenic sinusitis
- Suspected or confirmed CSF leak
- Skull base pathology
- Nose, sinus and skull base tumors
- Complex sphenoid or frontal sinus disease
- Unexplained smell loss
- Multidisciplinary rhinology cases requiring coordination with other specialties
What to Include With Your Referral
Where available, the following help make the first visit as productive as possible:
- Relevant clinic notes
- Previous operative reports, if applicable
- Pathology results, if applicable
- Recent sinus or skull base CT or MRI
- Prior microbiology results, when relevant
Second Opinions
Second-opinion referrals are welcomed, particularly for complex or revision rhinologic and skull base disease.
Physician-to-Physician Discussion
For complex or unusual cases, a direct discussion between physicians can be arranged prior to or alongside a formal referral. Please indicate this when reaching out, and it will be prioritized accordingly.
